Jen Pearson has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. Initially, she started doing yoga to find a quiet space and destress while living in New York City. She was drawn to yoga practices and disciplines that focused on the breath, mind-body connection, and body alignment. Over the years, her commitment to yoga grew, and she started to seek out different studios and teachers while traveling for work to learn from them and appreciate their differences or similarities. "A common thread runs through the practice no matter where you are."
Jen completed her 200-hour certification in the Spring of 2016, and since then, she has taught over 500 hours. Currently, she lives in Galveston and teaches a Vinyasa flow class based on the teachings of the late BKS Iyengar. The class focuses on breath, meditation, and body alignment, and is accompanied by soulful and intentional music. "When people tell me that they are not flexible enough for yoga, I assure them that flexibility does not matter. Only two things matter: the breath and a desire to move the body; the rest comes in time."

During high school sports Christopher he found himself getting injured and in pain. In 2008 he committed to a yoga practice at his college rec center. There he found the exercise and sanity his body needed to alleviate injury and pain as well as support his mental health.
In 2014, Christopher completed a 200hr yoga teacher training program at Yoga Source St. Louis where he experienced a wide range of approaches, lots of different flow sequencing and studied Iyengar yoga.
Christopher found a simple sequencing that he commonly utilizes that minimizes complications in transitions that take us out of alignment. Students enjoy the sequencing and flow of his classes and find it easy to follow through his thoughtful guidance and encouragement allowing them to understand the actions of the body more deeply.

Michelle’s love of yoga began by accident over 20 years ago after taking a yoga class while in college the day before a 10K road race, resulting in her shaving over 2 minutes off her run time. As a lifelong athlete, Michelle immediately recognized the physical benefits that yoga provided, and began routinely taking classes at the Yoga Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Yoga soon became a passion, and she studied under Kristin Cooper-Gulak (founder of Kunga Yoga) for her 200-hour teacher training in 2003.
With an extensive background in the biological sciences, Michelle appreciated bringing mind and body together through proper alignment and nervous system regulation. During her graduate studies in South Carolina, she was able to study under Stacy Millner-Collins, as well as numerous other respected teachers, focusing on alignment-oriented yoga.
Michelle’s professional career took her to Washington, DC, where she studied at Willow Street Yoga earning her advanced yoga teaching certification. Her with continued travels and marine science endeavors allowed her to teach yoga in unique places, such as American Samoa. After moving to Texas in 2012 for her job as a marine biologist, Michelle has been offering vinyasa and flow-based yoga classes in Galveston. She is also an advanced BUTI yoga instructor, and finds joy in infusing dynamic yoga asana with primal music to some groovy dance beats! When not at yoga, you can find Michelle scuba diving at Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, paddle boarding off the Galveston seawall, and spending time with her beloved husband, son, and two dogs.

Shari grew up in Honolulu, Hawii where she developed a deep and profound love of nature.
Her passion for wellness began as she started to feel it slipping away. She was diagnosed with one major illness after another. Lupus, Chronic Fatigue, and Fibromyalgia were some of the labels given her. She spent a lot of time in doctor' offices desperately trying to find answers.
It was not until she started to take control of her own well-being and seek alternative care that she began to feel better. Yoga, Tai Chi and meditation enabled her to calm her nervous system and begin to develop a mastery of her thoughts toward her own journey toward greater health.
Bodywork helped her to release the stress and strain that he had been holding. Once her own energy returned and she was well enough, she began to study the healing arts that had helped her so tremendously.
In additional to the many massage and bodywork practices that she has mastered, Shari is a practitioner of Sound Medicine and conducts Soundbaths using voice, hand-blown crystal bowls, gongs and other instruments to promote deep relaxation and healing.
